About SQAI 2026
The International Summit on Quantum Artificial Intelligence (SQAI) is the world’s premier gathering dedicated to the intersection of quantum computing and artificial intelligence. Founded in 2021 by Austin Hua as the first academic conference dedicated to quantum AI, SQAI brings together leading researchers, technologists, and visionaries to explore how quantum computation can unlock the next frontier of intelligence.
SQAI 2026 is the 3rd edition of this landmark summit.

The Ultracompute Institute (UCI) is a Washington, D.C. nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing quantum software research and striving to build the world's first ultracomputer for Artificial Ultraintelligence (AUI). UCI's founder, Austin Hua, founded SQAI in 2021 as the world's first academic conference dedicated to quantum AI. (UCI is deeply optimistic about the long-term future of quantum computing — views that may not reflect those of all speakers, sponsors, or collaborators involved with this conference.)
Ultraintelligence Labs (UIL) is a research branch of the Ultracompute Institute advancing quantum-native intelligence systems. UIL's mission is to develop Q-I/O (QIO), a next-generation quantum software architecture designed to help usher in the era of Artificial Ultraintelligence (AUI). UIL works alongside the Ultracompute Institute on the broader ultracomputing ecosystem, including the development of the Ultracomputer (UC-1). (UIL is at the very early stages of this journey — many ideas will evolve as research progresses.)
The NTU Quantum Club (臺大量子應用社) is a student organization at National Taiwan University dedicated to promoting quantum science and technology on campus. NTUQC fosters an interdisciplinary, cross-generational platform connecting students with industry leaders, professors, and researchers to advance together into the quantum era.
Note: NTUQC was not registered for semester 114-2, but we plan to complete registration for semester 115-1. If you are interested in joining the next staff team, please contact us!
The IBM Quantum Hub at National Taiwan University (NTU IBM Q) is a research partnership between NTU and IBM, established in 2019 with support from Taiwan's National Science and Technology Council. The hub provides access to cutting-edge IBM quantum systems, hosts the annual Qiskit Hackathon Taiwan, and conducts research spanning quantum software, algorithms, and applications. It serves as Taiwan's primary bridge between academic quantum research and industrial transformation in the ICT sector.
